TECQAN Moves Headquarters to Odense – Strengthening the Life Science Ecosystem in Funen
Life science consultancy TECQAN has chosen to establish its headquarters in Odense. The company, which specializes in helping life science companies and startups navigate the extensive requirements for regulation, certification, and documentation, has settled in Forskerparken – at the heart of the city’s dynamic innovation environment.
Local Expertise and Strong Networks
With this move, TECQAN becomes an active member of the Life Science Fyn network, contributing experience and insights to a market that increasingly demands specialized advisory services.
“At TECQAN, we provide regulatory consulting and business development within life science and high-tech. In other words, we help companies get started. This can be established businesses, but also university students developing a medical or high-tech product that requires regulatory approval. The reason we chose Forskerparken, even though we originally come from Copenhagen and Vejle, is that the companies we work with typically need to be close to universities and Odense University Hospital to be able to test and develop the solutions we help them create.”
Karen Hvid Ipsen, a native of Funen, brings valuable experience to TECQAN from the business community in Funen, where she has worked with a range of start-up companies. As TECQAN’s local consultant, she combines strong knowledge of QA and regulatory affairs in life science with deep local connections, ensuring the company is firmly anchored in the regional network of regulatory advisors. Karen has been well received and is actively involved in projects at SDU as well as with several established companies, strengthening TECQAN’s presence and accessibility in the local life science ecosystem.
