Military Drone center in Odense
The Danish Defence establishes a new drone center at HCA Airport, right next to one of Northern Europe’s leading drone test hubs. The center is expected to further strengthen the Danish airport’s position as one of the key powerhouses for drone development and dual-use solutions in the region.

UAS DENMARK TEST CENTER
At the heart of the ecosystem is UAS Denmark Test Center – a test and knowledge center dedicated to boosting drone potentials. In addition to state-of-the-art test facilities and research labs, UAS Denmark Test Center offers a unique 1.900 square kilometer large BVLOS airspace that stretches over land as well as sea. Access to the airspace can be granted with a 48-hour notice.
UAS Denmark Test Center is a collaboration between Hans Christian Andersen Airport, Odense Municipality and the University of Southern Denmark.
