Welcome the host Lukas Ziegler
Lukas is the founder of a leading media house dedicated to robotics companies, ranging from innovative startups to industry giants like ABB and NVIDIA. As an expert in the field, Lukas is also a lecturer at the Business School of Warsaw University of Technology, where he imparts his knowledge of Industry 4.0 to MBA students.
With years of experience in the deep-tech startup ecosystem, Lukas serves as a Venture Partner at ffVC, where he plays an instrumental role in supporting emerging startups in the robotics market. His passion for advancing the robotics industry is further demonstrated through his creation of a vibrant community of over 250,000 enthusiasts, with a strong following in both Europe and the United States. Lukas’s content reaches more than 100 million people annually, empowering and educating a global audience on the transformative potential of robotics and technology.
Meet the jury
Eerik Paasikivi Kvanted
Eerik has an extensive experience in early-stage investing in the industrial sector. Before co-founding Kvanted, Eerik spent over a decade managing venture capital firm Valve Ventures, supporting startups such as Sulapac, Infinited Fiber and Norsepower among multiple others. With his broad knowledge across the European industrial ecosystem and strong networks, he is always ready to connect founders with industrial stakeholders. As an early investor in several sustainability-focused companies, Eerik is the go-to person for entrepreneurs looking to build something meaningful in the realm of industrial value chain. Eerik is especially enthusiastic to hear about new material innovations looking to take off.
Wendy Cheng startup Wise Guys
Awarded the “50 Women in Robotics You Need to Know About” in 2021 by Women in Robotics (SVR), combining her close to 15 years of international business development experience in HW, SW SMEs between Asia and Europe, she’s now a GP for Wise Guys New Frontier fund for startups in dual use, cyber security and robotics; the Board of Nordic Startup Ventures, a local syndicate of angel investors.
In the past 15 years, she has on ground-up sales in licensing, partnership, tech match-making, market entry, supply chain management deals for different sizes of companies across industries in robotics (exos), renewable energy, industrial automation, wearable intelligence, cloud computing, and scale them internationally. This paved her way to investment professional esp. at seed/ pre-seed stage in deep tech. She’s now , after joining the team as Investment Director.
Eran Rosenberg Nvidia
Eran Rosenberg is an AI industry leader specializing in computer vision, robotics, and the physical AI. As a Sr. NVIDIA Inception Partner Manager, he empowers startups by combining technical expertise with business insight to accelerate their growth. Eran has a proven track record in launching and scaling AI-driven ventures, helping founders identify opportunities and navigate challenges. His work bridges engineering and entrepreneurship, ensuring startups deliver advanced AI solutions with real-world impact.
Troels Pedersen Odense robotics Startup fund
Troels Oliver Vilms Pedersen is a robotics expert and entrepreneur with 20+ years of experience. He led a robotics department at the Danish Technological Institute and sold his robotic company, Proxima Centauri. A frequent media expert on robotics and automation, he has secured major funding for tech projects. As co-creator of the Odense Robotics Startup Fund, he now focuses on developing robotic solutions is startups.
