DENMARK OPEN IS INVADED BY ROBOTS

In October 2025, Denmark Open returns to Odense from 14–19 October, welcoming the world’s top players.

Building on last year’s success, innovation once again takes center stage as robots assist the players and showcase cutting-edge technology to the audience. The world’s most renowned collaborative robot arm will deliver shuttlecocks during the semifinals and finals, while a self-driving mobile robot will carry players’ bags. These robots are among the most advanced cobots and mobile industrial robots in the world, designed to work safely alongside humans in everyday tasks—transporting hospital samples, welding, screwing, and painting.

 

Visitors will also meet and interact with the robots. Firstly, they will be welcomed by a talking service robot, greeted by a racket-waving robot and, receive programs from a self-driving mobile robot. They can also compete in a game of ”tic-tac-toe” against a robot similar to the one handing the ball to the players.

Meanwhile, people from around the world can join the experience remotely via a robot, allowing them to follow Victor Denmark Open as if they were there in person.
